Josh is a self taught writer/director. After graduating university, he started working as an Accounts Trainee on Marvel Studios’ ‘Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’. After that, he moved on to be an Assistant Accountant on the set of the second series of Marvel Studios’ ‘Loki’.

He then moved over to Sid Gentle Films, where he was assistant to BAFTA winning, Emmy and Golden Globe nominated producer, Sally Woodward Gentle. During his time as Production Assistant, he worked across the BAFTA nominated comedy, ‘Extraordinary’, for Disney+/Hulu, and RTS nominated ‘Rain Dogs’ for BBC/HBO. He then joined the Development team at Sid Gentle as a Development Assistant, where he still works part-time.

He is a graduate of the Soho Theatre Writers’ Lab, where his play, ‘The Chair’, was longlisted for the Tony Craze Award, and he is a BAFTA Connect member. He has written and directed his own short films; with his debut, ‘Lootin’’ premiering at the Emerging Talent Film Festival in 2024, as well as various commercial videos. He shadowed director Jamie Donoghue on the the third series of ITV’s Trigger Point. In 2025 he was selected for the Bush Theatre Writers’ Group.

He has an original TV series in development with Sid Gentle Films.
